Full Job Description

The Registration Service is responsible for recording all the significant events in life. We register births and deaths, conduct and register marriages and civil partnerships and offer other associated services. We seek a Business Support Assistant to join the team in the Archive Centre on the County Hall Site in Norwich, making sure this front-line service is delivered to Norfolk residents and visitors effectively and efficiently. Applicants will need to have excellent clerical and people skills and be experienced in dealing with people over the phone, by email and face to face.

Applicants should be quick learners, enthusiastic, patient and able to demonstrate they are flexible as the role is extremely varied but essential in the support of the Registrars and Management Team throughout the county. We have a full-time post of 37 hours per week.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent IT skills, spelling and grammar. They will need to demonstrate their commitment to great customer service and meet the highest expectations for service delivery.

Permanent Contract | £23,500 to £23,893 per annum (Scale D) | 37 hours per week | County Hall,
