About the Role

The role will provide a confidential support service to the Director of Student & Academic Services (SAAS) who is a member of the University Leadership Group (ULG), Registry Leadership Team and the wider Registry. The role will undertake support to the Registry Support Officer and will undertake duties such as diary and inbox management, event coordination, Finance overview/governance, Registry corporate communications along with committee and meeting servicing. You will also assist in Registry activities at key times such as clearing enrolment, graduation, open days.

This role is part time, 16 hours per week.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented candidate with experience in administrative roles within a service environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in minute-taking, handling sensitive situations with discretion, and managing confidential information appropriately.

You should have a proven ability to proactively manage a diverse workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines while adapting to changing circumstances. Strong organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.

Attention to detail and excellent written communication skills are crucial, along with digital literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative business systems. Knowledge of data protection principles is also required. The role may occasionally involve late or weekend work.
