As a Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety Specialist in P&G Global Product Stewardship organization, you will work within the Global Safety Data Sheet Service which is responsible for the creation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and the ongoing development of processes with a high focus on Digital 'end-to-end' Innovation, to support key data flows. A position in Global Product Stewardship with P&G gives new additions to the company and intensive immersion in the exciting and challenging compliance world we work in. This position is located in our Newcastle innovation Centre (Longbenton). What To Expect: Contribute to P&G's success by:

  • Serving as part of the Safety Data Sheet Authoring Team, working with the team to deliver a variety of class leading quality Safety Data Sheets.
  • Directly ensuring the safety of P&G employees, our partners and customers.
  • Utilizing various digital data streams, working to understand, optimize and streamline these flows of data.
  • Delivering all key metrics of service as well as contributing / implementing a continuous improvement approach., Organise and streamline data flows related to the SDS request, to support detailed audit trail and quality improvement.
  • Manage and work to understand the root cause problems with the digital data stream of information required to create a SDS
  • Partner with IT developers to enable systematic solutions and continuous quality improvement
  • Create SDS, using approved current best approach and digitalize the service.
  • Communicate with customers globally, when issues arise, with aim to resolve quickly and systemically in partnership with multifunctional teams, i.e. IT, R&D, Marketing, Product Supply
  • Provide real time updates on SDS request status to team administrator.

    Graduates with a degree in chemical engineering, biology, chemistry, materials sciences or life sciences.
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously - to prioritize, park and react to changing requirements of our customers.
  • Experience and ability to work with various protocols - to stick to the process, ensuring consistency of regulated documentation, while in parallel propose continuous improvement of work processes.
  • Office 365 capability, with onus on excellent Excel & database usage skills.
  • Strong levels of personal ownership, a high degree of initiative as well as a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and tracking skills and the ability to collaborate effectively, attention to detail and a desire to implement clear protocols.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience of a regulatory environment within consumer goods or pharma industry.
  • Experience of Safety Data Sheet software.
  • Experience with digital technologies & data flow. Experience of databases, data movement, digital innovation and management.
