Regulatory Data Team Leader

A Regulatory Data Team Leader, who will lead a team of Product Analysts in determining the regulatory requirements through all phases of project delivery. International regulators the world over require gambling companies to write software and reporting systems to communicate jurisdiction specific information to them. Our long term strategy is to gain licences throughout the world's regulated markets as they are made available and the teams' output is key to that strategy. This role has been created as a result of an increase in the number of regulated markets that the Company plan to operate in and the role is crucial to ensure the regulatory requirements are captured and fully understood during the delivery of business initiatives. You will also have responsibility to improve the documentation around existing systems, serving current regulated markets. You will manage the team and be responsible for the allocation, management and delivery of all tasks assigned to the team. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company's hybrid working policy., Managing a busy technical team of Product Analysts. Prioritising, triaging, assigning and tracking of work items. Ensuring the highest level of governance is carried out on all work. Identifying and implementing improvements to work practices, processes and deliverables in order to support the delivery of high quality software. Drawing together key stakeholders to provide clarity and agreement on the interpretation of regulatory requirements. Managing performance, mentoring and coaching the team, and supporting individual's career aspirations. Gaining an understanding of the existing regulatory reporting systems; both the regulatory requirements and the interpretations which have been implemented. Holding 121s and team meetings. Commercial experience as a Product or Business Analyst. Experience of interpreting requirements from third party documentation with limited, indirect channels to the third party. Experience of driving collaboration across key stakeholders to ensure requirements are clarified, fully understood and documented. Experience of leading a geographically distributed team by holding regular 121s and supporting the team in producing and tracking personal development plans. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Highly organised and adaptable; adept at prioritisation, delivery and driving efficiency in a high throughput environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams so that they work harmoniously and effectively. Maintains a positive outlook whilst adapting to rapidly changing requirements. Experience of working within a regulatory or commercial gambling environment is desirable. Read more Read less
