Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Trainer to join our in-house Training and Development Team. As a heavily regulated business a key part of ensuring good governance practice is the design and delivery of the full annual cycle of regulatory and mandatory learning. This role will take on these responsibilities and has the opportunity to play a crucial part in the wider training strategy for the business, under the guidance of a Training and Development Business Partner. With the constant evolution of regulation within the industry, there will be a focus on continued professional development for the successful candidate. The Role As the Regulatory trainer, you will be responsible for delivering all regulatory and mandatory learning. This will involve training delivery both in-person as well as via elearning. You will be working closely with key stakeholders across the business to develop and deliver this training whilst ensuring it is carried out efficiently and effectively across the Company and to the agreed deadlines. You will also be responsible for ensuring that key metrics are built into all delivered solutions and you will be responsible for reporting and analysing results to provide clarity on the status of regulatory learning through the organisation. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing training content, job aids, presentations and user guides that support learning within the organisation;
  • Analysing and reporting on learning data, including producing accurate, timely and regular reporting to inform the Leadership team, stakeholders and sponsors of current "state of play";
  • Ensuring learning topics are kept up to date and delivered within agreed time frames;
  • Partner with suppliers and providers to ensure smooth delivery when an external training route has been agreed;
  • Supporting and developing other members of the training team as required.
  • Person Specification You will be an experienced Trainer with demonstrable design, delivery and facilitation skills, particularly in eLearning using authoring tools Articulate 360 Storyline, Rise and Vyond. Previous Financial Services experience is essential with an understanding of relevant regulations, ie. Senior Managers & Certification Regime, Training and Competence Scheme. The successful candidate will be engaging, with a strong passion for learning and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of key stakeholders.
