Full Job Description

This expansion will enable us to offer more availability and flexibility to our patients and allow us to offer an even more shifter service whilst still maintaining focus on providing a high standard of safe and effective patient care!, As a Rehabilitation Assistant with us, you will be supporting the Physiotherapists in the treatment of patients and with supervision will be responsible for working on your own patient caseload.

You'll be monitoring patient progress, reporting any issues to the qualified Physiotherapist. In addition working with the Physiotherapist, you may need to alter were required and progress individual patient treatment plans, always ensuring the appropriate pathways of care and communication are being met.

Youll be providing treatment to patients identifying particulars such as; range of movement, strength and additional care needs. You'll be offering advice, guidance and instructions to our patients, their families or carers as well as some professionals and trainees.

You'll be conscious of health, safety and hygiene aspects in the treatment areas and physiotherapy equipment are clean, fit for purpose reporting any issues to the appropriate member of staff. Youll assist with the management of stock and equipment, ensuring good levels and ordering when appropriate, pre-empting any shortfalls.

You might have past experience of working in a care home, hospital or clinical environment and might have already completed the NVQ level 1&2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

You will a strong communicator, confident to converse at all levels, both written and verbal. You will be communicating with a wide range of people, from internal colleagues from varied departments to patients, their families and friends.

You should be familiar with MS office tools and be able to pick up new system as you will be using our in-house system.

between 09:00 to 19:00 or 09:00 to 17:00 on a Sunday
