Full Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the team, who has the passion and skills for delivering, and maintaining in the team, a high standard of rehabilitation. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Healthcare assistants, Pharmacist, Rehabilitation Assistants, Social Workers and Community Care Officers., To be responsible for a caseload of patients working to agreed treatment objectives and to assist qualified staff in carrying out individual and group treatment. To provide therapy interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team to patient within an agreed scope of practice. Successful completion of core competencies assessed by qualified To be responsible for handing over patient progress and any areas of concern following intervention to the relevant member of wardstaff. The Rehabilitation Assistants' role will focus on improving independence and will include promotion of daily living skills, personal care and maintenance of strength and function.
