You will work as an inter-disciplinary Rehabilitation Assistant supporting the role of all members of the team to ensure high quality patient-focused care to in and out-patients who may have complex acute or chronic rehabilitation needs after having a burn injury or plastic surgery.
You will have opportunities to spend time with other members of the MDT, to appreciate their roles in the rehabilitation of the burns and plastic surgery patients throughout their journey, and attend relevant meetings to set goals, plan and manage care plans accordingly. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and ability to work in a critical care.
You should be able to work as directed by the qualified burns and plastic surgery therapists but also be confident and competent in carrying your own caseload and reporting back to the team.
