Full Job Description

At Battersea, our Dog Operations team is responsible for delivering the highest standards of animal welfare and care for every dog in their journey through Battersea, from intake, to their care and assessments and then to rehoming. We are looking for someone to lead a care group within the dog assessing & welfare team at our Old Windsor centre, ensuring the best possible outcomes for dogs in Battersea's care whilst providing the highest standard of husbandry and hygiene. The ideal candidate would be someone who has worked with dogs in a rescue environment and has experience of recommending and implementing behavioural programmes, has experience with delivering high quality work with minimal supervision and decision-making with regard to dogs' behavioural assessments.

1 x 40 hours per week, to include weekend & bank holiday working on a rota basis (permanent) - 1x 24 hours per week, every Tue, Wed, Fri (1-year fixed term contract) What we can offer you: In return for your commitment to our cause and to recognise the value of our employees, Battersea offers a range of benefits to support the wellbeing of our employees.
