Full Job Description

We are seeking a Planner, preferably with utilities/construction experience, on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 6 months to assist our Anglian Water team with all aspects of planning & scheduling works to Reinstatement teams across Anglian's water networks. Here are some of the activities you will be involved with...

  • Plan for field resource and schedule work where appropriate to your allocated teams
  • Request for all the operational pre-requisites to plan the job, including the raising of requests for letters pre-warning customers and ensure that work is conducted in accordance with the information communicated
  • Identify the required notice and Streetworks requirements
  • Liaise with different departments for the full planning and enabling of work, as necessary
  • Customer assurance/relations - Planned dates for disruptions to customers with detailed explanations of why works are being undertaken and/or on-hold
  • Undertake reactive customer call backs
  • Review backlog and ensure managed tightly
  • Raise and Manage Notices & Permits
  • Ensure error queues are managed meticulously

Additionally, they should have knowledge of Traffic Management, strong customer management skills, significant experience with the full Microsoft Office suite, and proficiency in SAP. Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and strong organizational skills are also essential for success in this role.
