Full Job Description

Effectively communicating with the chosen reinstatement contractor to provide dimensions/material types and time scales for completion of the reinstatement.

Effective communication within the team and with both internal and external stakeholders, including the Highways Agency, contractors, and customers.

Responsible for ensuring that reinstatement submissions to the Highways Agency and our chosen reinstatement contractors are accurate and on time, avoiding time delays for the construction teams, delays to the program and fines from the Highways Agency where permits overrun. This activity is key due to the scale of the work.

Problem solving and decision making on site, coming up with practical solutions and implementing these efficiently. There are likely to be complex challenges on site, and this role is responsible for finding solutions.

For this role the right candidate will have Proven experience in accurately measuring excavations and understanding reinstatement activities as well as knowledge of materials and permit types and ideally have your National Water Hygiene and NRSWA with significant experience working within utility-based industry.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, contractors, and external bodies like the Highways Agency and the Ability to manage contractor relationships and influence a diverse range of stakeholders

We want a candidate that has strong problem solving skills to address onsite challenges and find practical solutions and someone that can make informed decisions independently and suggest process improvement. As well as this , we are looking for a candidate who has great planning and organisational skills and are able to handle multiple deadlines and site visits.
