Full Job Description
Managing and supporting Relay Operational Standards, you'll be responsible for compliance and reporting to ensure service practices are maintained to a high level to protection revenue and maximising profitability through analysis of data and continuous improvement activities to meet quality targets by customer/stream. You'll lead the Network Control support during the day and out of hours to invoke any necessary contingencies and disaster planning activities. Manage major incidents and service disruption, facilitate RCA and initiate mitigating actions. These key activities will be pinnacle for Relays future in a RMG Health operation. About the role You will be gate keeper of any Master Schedules for customers (DWP etc), managing the change with the customer and ensuring performance against SLA's and incidents are logged and monitored. You will drive up driver compliance by analysis of scanning data working with Ops teams to improve/maintain standards. Continuous improvement activity maintaining specific Quality of Service targets on visits and working on actions to reduce the impact of service credits, as well as completing regular revenue protection audits to identify areas of loss and support improvement activity. Work alongside Account Management. Manage and support the production and deployment of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) a key standard for the Network. Working with operations and commercial to ensure they are fit for purpose both operationally & commercially. Manage, support, and own the production of contingency plans including BCP & disaster scenario planning activity. You will engage with key stakeholders including Account Management and Operational Teams to provide full end of day/pattern reporting. The position also requires you to
- Produce and interrogate daily exception reports, ensuring escalation of performance issues to the units concerned.
- Support onboarding of new customer solutions, including management of the post implementation activities through to BAU.
- Central Sameday courier invoice reporting and analysis. Direct liaison with RMCS for adhoc requirements.
- NEXUS damage report collation and analysis for trends and challenges to improve behaviours and drive down costs.
- WTL, Safety notices & SHE Calendar communication and actions.
- Operation efficiency reporting - stops count etc.
- Produce weekly and period performance and stats reporting for senior managers.
- Management of TP service suppliers, network services and requirements through PFW liaison.
- Produce budgetary requirements for network and produce period KPI's to illustrate performance against.
- Special events/campaign planning.
- Own and control the Relay SharePoint contents and use of.
- Internal transport auditing at unit level.
- Planning and costing of new customer opportunities Attendance Pattern - Monday to Friday, Hours between 21:00- 05:12 About You You need to demonstrate the following on your CV: Full understanding of the Relay Operational Pipeline and key measures.
- Effective communicator both written and verbally.

- Commercially aware operating within a profit & loss centre.
