We have an exciting opportunity to join as a Release and Transfer Nurse to join our team at Heathrow IRC, a Immigration Removal Centre located in West Drayton., As a Release and Transfer Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Manage the assessment of health needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of care, for the prison population, including clinical risk assessment
  • Provide care and planning for adult male prisoners from the point of reception until the day of release or transfer to another establishment
  • Work collaboratively with the patient and any other agencies to support a safe transition back into the community/ other establishment

    Heathrow IRC combines Colnbrook and Harmondsworth removals centres under one management structure making it the largest immigration removal centre in Europe, with a capacity of 965 residents. You will be working in a team of 6 and is a brand new team based at Heathrow IRC., Registered Adult Nurse
  • Evidence of implementation of local and national policies e.g. NICE guidance
  • Experience demonstrating high levels of clinical expertise
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate openly, consistently and clearly

    This is a permanent 37.5 hours per week, shifts to be covered are:
  • Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £49,000.00 per annum.
