Reliability Engineer Jobs - Nationwide - at Stannah Join Our Team! Stannah have recently been awarded a major national lift and escalator contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to grow this area of the business and has created jobs within our company. The Reliability Engineer job is newly created and will ensure reliability and performance across the Service Branches within Maintenance and Repair focussing on the work completed within this contract. This role will involve travel across the UK. You will focus on managing maintenance strategies using the data identified to help improve asset uptime, optimising maintenance practices, and to reduce repeat breakdowns.,

  • Data Expertise and Utilisation : Develop a deep understanding of available data in Looker and other sources to drive and implement improvement initiatives effectively.
  • Asset Performance and Reliability Analysis : Conduct comprehensive analyses on lift and escalator performance, focusing on reliability metrics (e.
  • g., FMEA, MTBF) to identify risks, improve first-time fix rates, minimise breakdowns, and enhance engineer utilisation.
  • Preventative Maintenance and RCA : Create and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies and lead root cause analysis to address failures or safety issues, ensuring optimised asset longevity and reliability.
  • Stakeholder Reporting and Data Management : Maintain detailed records and performance data, generating reports on KPIs and sharing insights with stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Project Leaders hip : Collaborate with departments and lead large-scale improvement projects to maximise value and incorporate industry best practices in reliability engineering.

    Our ideal candidate will have proven technical expertise within the lift and escalator industry with strong analytical skills.
  • Previous experience working in a Reliability Engineer job or similar would be beneficial.,
  • Specialised Reliability Engineering Experience : Extensive experience in reliability engineering, particularly with lifts, escalators, or similar electro-mechanical systems, ideally managing large-scale or national portfolios.
  • Data Analysis and Quality Tools Proficiency : Skilled in using data analysis and quality tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Power BI, Looker) with strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Effective Communication and Collaboration : Strong communicator and collaborative team player, capable of working effectively across various disciplines.
  • Certifications : Certified in reliability engineering (CRE) and / or lift and escalator maintenance (e.g., NVQ Level 3 / 4) or equivalent industry qualifications.
