Full Job Description
The role will be to provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administration duties to the Community Specialties Admin Teams.
We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive Medical Secretary to join the Community Specialties Admin Team in the West. The candidate will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills., This challenging position requires someone who is a team player, flexible, organised and is able to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will need to be an experienced typist, qualified to RSA Typing Level II (or equivalent). This position also requires excellent communication skills, the ability to meet the demands of working in a busy environment and is able to represent the department with due professionalism. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.,
- RSA /OCR level 2 or equivalent experience (must be a proficient user of Microsoft word)
- NVQ Business Administration L3 or equivalent experience Desirable
- NVQ Customer Service L3 Experience Essential
- Knowledge of a range of administrative processes
- Experience of working in a busy office environment Desirable
- Experience of working within the NHS Essential Criteria Essential
- Evidence of Continual Personal development
- Medical terminology Desirable
- Knowledge of NHS Organisations Person Specification Qualifications Essential
