  • Job Overview: As a Relief Security Officer, your primary responsibility is to protect our customers' property, people, and assets by delivering exceptional security services. You'll work in accordance with the site's Assignment Instructions (AI's) and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations:


  • Ensure compliance with all policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published AI's.

  • Stay updated with any changes in AI's and suggest improvements to enhance service levels.

  • Maintain compliance with Industry and Statutory Legislation, wearing the necessary licenses and badges at all times.


  • Training:


  • Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.

  • Undertake additional training for continuous self-development as directed.

  • Use technology to achieve key work objectives and enhance job knowledge through professional development.

  • Renew your license 16 weeks before expiry.


  • Security and Health & Safety:


  • Report any Health & Safety hazards or potential hazards on site immediately.

  • Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment and take appropriate action.

  • Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations and with difficult customers.

  • Complete accurate, detailed notebook entries after any incidents for the Incident Report process.

  • Ensure check calls are made at allocated times as per AI's.

  • Report all incidents to emergency services and the Communication Centre.

    Experience: Previous security experience is essential.

  • Licensing: SIA License required; SC Clearance is desirable.

  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work methodically and systematically.

  • Proactive: Ability to use common sense and initiative in all situations, involving others when necessary.
