Full Job Description
An important part of the staff role is to support the needs of individuals through the ethos and values of Praxis Care.
So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team support our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day to day life.
Where You Would Work: Plasden Court, Wythenshawe - Manchester
The Service offers an integrated and supported step down pathway for individuals accessing Plasden Court and moving on to greater independence in the local community. Support to each individuaks that we support is provided via the existing staff team at Plasden in bespoke flats within walking distance of Plasden Court.
This enables rapid response and continuity of care, support and reassurance. Support hours are flexible in response to changing individual need. Placement and service offers are Care Act informed and compliant.
