Full Job Description

You will accept referrals from our UK insurance business and provide assessment and therapeutic interventions across a range of mental health conditions for children and young people (including interventions with adult caregivers as required) aged between 11 - 17 and liaise with relevant agencies or parties as required. Working remotely for this role, you will be a first point of clinical contact for Children & Young People. You will provide a high quality, effective and safe mental wellbeing service via MS Teams. You'll help us make health happen by:

  • Providing a high quality, effective and safe mental health and wellbeing service to children and young people using evidence-based practice
  • Delivering comprehensive assessment and formulation that drives an evidence-based intervention for children and young people and their families as required
  • Ensuring an assessment and formulation determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the eligible customer
  • Working at an individual and systemic level with differing models of service delivery including telephone or video consultation depending on preference and need

    Professional doctorate qualification in Clinical Psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society
  • I year + post-qualification as a Clinical Psychologist registered with HCPC
  • 2 years + experience in Children and Young People (CYP Mental Health) / CAMHS services
  • Experience with general adult mental health services and diverse and varied clinical experience to draw upon
  • Safeguarding and robust risk assessment experience with children and young people is essential
  • In addition, you will be a strong team player, have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously and have some understanding or prior experience of working in a corporate business environment.
