Full Job Description

Reporting to the Senior B2B Sales Manager this role will be responsible for managing and increasing Volvo Car UK's Specialist Sales channels. You will manage relationships with key partners to support our strategic volume and profit objectives in these areas.

This role is key to managing several essential sales channels from inception through to delivery including: Major Daily Rental, Motability, Retailer Employee Car Schemes & Tactical Leasing/Broker.

Your key deliverables will include:

  • Ensuring pricing is completed accurately and on time each as required for each channel.

  • Hold regular reviews with key stakeholders to positively influence and optimise VCUK's pricing offer across the relevant sales channels.

  • Present and negotiate both buyback and risk offers with major daily rental customers.

  • Work closely with Car Benefit Solutions to deliver the quarterly retailer employee scheme offers and to ensure the retail networks engagement with the programme (via the VCUK field development teams).

  • Own, develop and manage relationships with key stakeholder's within Motability Operations to ensure a competitive offer, as well as driving strong levels of Retailer engagement with the programme.

  • Work alongside Contract Hire & Leasing team to create and deliver ad hoc tactical sales opportunities within the leasing channel.

  • Manage additional schemes/programmes as required to support VCUK business objectives.

  • Supports the Senior Manager to develop and deliver the annual plan and budget for all Specialist Sales channels.

  • Develop and assess new and existing business opportunities, initiatives and pricing models.

  • Monitors and assesses competition and product innovation, sharing with SSM as necessary.

  • Experience working across the automotive industry.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ambition to drive the future development of process change.

  • The confidence to play a key part in stakeholder meetings.
