Representation Coordinator - Maternity Cover

We are looking for a passionate creative and enthusiastic individual to work within the Membership Development department at Undeb Bangor as Representation Coordinator. You will work closely with the elected Students' Union Sabbatical Officers and will support the development and delivery of representative and democratic activity within the Union, including Course Representatives, Student Council, elections and policy and UMCB representation activity.

As part of the Student Voice team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the representative and democratic based activity in accordance with the Union's strategic goals.

The role sits within a busy and dynamic department and therefore candidates must have excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to be flexible and adaptable. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a representative and democratic environment and a good understanding of student voice. Experience of working in a diverse organisation with the ability to flourish in a fast-paced, student-led environment would be advantageous.

Candidates should be educated to 2 AS Levels or 1 A level or NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject area.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as reasonably possible.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
