From 4 April 2024 overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals, etc) but sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. In addition, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for those occupations paid by NHS bands that are on the immigration salary, a list of skilled jobs which have lower salary requirements, will need to meet the national pay scale for their role or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200 (whichever is higher). Though still a developing department, the R&D team have gone from strength to strength in the last few years and this opportunity is to join the expanding agile Research Delivery Team, supporting us in our vision to further expand research across a variety of clinical specialties and a range of care settings., + This post is central to the delivery of research in the Trust and to support local services to deliver research projects which are included on the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) portfolio.
+ The role will involve undertaking study related administration as appropriate to support the on-going care of research participants throughout the duration of the studies.
+ The post-holder will be part of a team, responsible for providing a quality administrative, secretarial and general service supporting the Research Delivery team.
+ Dealing with enquiries and obtaining information as required, as well as providing administrative support to the research delivery team. Have the ability to communicate professionally on all levels with members of the public, staff, directors, consultants, service users, carers and various external people. Communicate professionally with sensitive subject as the need arises.
+ Manage study specific data and files.
+ The post holder is expected to be flexible in their approach to the needs of the service which will require them to provide administrative support to others where necessary.
+ A willingness to travel to other sites in and around the county of Shropshire is required.
