Full Job Description

To further strengthen our UK Research Team, we are seeking a high-calibre research professional to join our Retail and Logistics Research Team. Our research team is a close-knit team of problem-solvers and strategic thinkers who strive to make things better, and no task is too big or too small. We work across CBRE with the common goal of providing data-led strategic insights and an excellent service to both CBRE's clients and internal stakeholders. This role will be responsible for providing clear and insightful analysis for the Retail and Logistics real estate sector. The successful candidate will gain immediate exposure to a variety of initiatives working across products and business units. They will be expected to use property data intelligently, from both internal and external sources, to produce insightful research outputs, presentations, and client consultancy related work. The successful candidate will contribute to department thought leadership papers and specific research projects, as well as writing sections for regular and ad-hoc reports and external publications. The role reports into the head of UK retail and logistics research, supporting them in processing incoming business, regular/ad hoc client requests, consulting projects and client presentations.   • Graduate, preferably with a degree in real estate, geography or related subject.
  • Preferably 1- 2 years' experience in property market research or other research / analysis environment.
  • Proficiency in data collection, manipulation and analysis, drawing relevant and robust conclusions. Good IT skills , particularly in excel.
  • Good numeracy and writing skills, with the ability to present data, information, methodologies and results effectively both orally and in writing. Accurate with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and ability to work both autonomously or in a team environment.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage workload to meet deadlines; Ability to work well under pressure, with multiple/competing deadlines.
  • Good presentation skills.
