Full Job Description

  • The Pan-European offices team have responsibility for:
  • Contributing to forward looking Thought Leadership publications relating to European offices markets (covering both occupier and property market trends) and to global thought leadership outputs
  • Production of regular market pan-European office reports
  • Working closely with global research to shape, support and contribute to the production of global offices publications
  • Liaising with the team of data managers to ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of European property market data.
  • Presenting on the European office market to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Responding to requests from internal CBRE teams and clients for market statistics, data, insights and pitch support.

    An undergraduate / postgraduate qualification in real estate, economics or social science would be desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in Research preferably within Property / Real Estate
  • Ability to analyse and present results orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis and presentation.
  • Good numeracy and writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and organisational skills, and ability to work in team environment.
  • A high level of flexibility and the ability to manage own workload to deadlines
  • Commercial awareness and ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • A genuine interest in office markets and, ideally, some understanding of the workings of commercial property markets.
  • Excellent IT skills, Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc. Experience with data visualisation software (Tableau / Power BI) would be desirable

    Our team is looking for a Research Analyst to work within the Pan-European Thought Leadership Team, based in our London office at Henrietta House, Henrietta Place. The role sits within the Offices thought leadership team.
  • The team's primary objective is to provide sector focused research-based advice, market analysis services and forward-looking thought leadership research to the company's service lines in support of its strategic objectives, and to our clients. The team meets these aims in a variety of ways including production of regular market reports, thematic thought leadership publications, internal and client presentations, input to new business pitches, client briefings and undertaking of consultancy projects. The outputs and activities of the team are integral to enhancing the quality of research and advice provided to key clients, both generally and in the context of specific instructions. The Pan-European Thought Leadership team includes a circa15-strong group of sector focused thought leaders based in different European Countries. The team covers all major property sectors and provides sector specific expertise. Research and Thought Leadership are integral to the quality of advice delivered to the company's clients and to CBRE's leading position as an authoritative commentator on its markets.
