Full Job Description
We are recruiting for an opportunity for a part-time Research Assistant to join the School of Health, Social Work & Sport to contribute to a randomised controlled trial funded by the Eleanor Peel Trust. This project explores the effects of Peppermint Oil in participants with pre-hypertension and stage 1 hypertension.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the research team in delivering high-quality research while gaining valuable experience and developing their skills in health research. You will lead participant recruitment and data collection activities for this project and will work alongside and be supported by experienced researchers, creating an excellent opportunity to further develop their expertise and professional network in the field.
The successful candidate will have a good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant area and proven experience in research management and familiarity with health physiological data collection methods. You will be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks within an agreed programme framework.
