Full Job Description

You will work together with a team of students, postdocs, and research collaborators. We will work on developing multimodal world models that incorporate brain signals. Brain signals will be correlated with real world and synthetic data to develop the next generation of human-computer interaction models.

The successful applicant will possess or soon obtain a Ph.D. in computer science in topics relating to AI and brain-computer interfaces. The ideal candidate should already have publications related to brain-signal-based neural network models and their applications to image or video generation. Excellent spoken and written English is essential. Those who have submitted but not yet received their Ph.D. will be appointed at Research Assistant level, to be amended to Research Associate once the Ph.D. has been awarded.

The post will be based in the Core Lab, core-lab.io, part of the Department of Computer Science and Technology, https://www.cst.cam.ac.uk/, in the University of Cambridge. The Department encompasses computer science and related technologies, from engineering to mathematics. We have an internationally leading reputation for academic research, and an open and collaborative culture, supporting revolutionary fundamental computer science research, strong cross-cutting internal and external collaborations, and a long history of developments that transform computing outside the University.
