Full Job Description

The project will study human pluripotent stem cell-derived otic progenitors using transcriptomic and flow cytometry techniques. The successful candidate will have a central role on preclinical and process development projects, improving the generation and testing of the stem cell-derived cell product. The post is funded by Rinri Therapeutics, an innovative biotechnology company aiming to take cell therapies for hearing loss to the clinic. It is ideally suited for a candidate interested in translational research and working at the academic-industrial interface.

Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area. They should also have experience in culturing stem cells and commonly used cell characterization techniques like qPCR, flow cytometry and immunofluorescence. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with other members of the existing research team are also essential. Experience with transcriptome analysis, cell sorting and inner ear biology are desirable.
