Full Job Description

We are seeking a band 8A Research Business Analyst to help gather the requirements and project manage requests for clean and relevant datasets for research in a timely and accurate manner. The role requires strong analytical, people, communication and project management skills. It offers intellectual challenge, autonomy, and an opportunity to work at one of London's best performing foundation trusts at a challenging and exciting time for NHS organisations., o To oversee the data management and availability of clean and relevant datasets for appropriate teams in a timely and accurate manner.

o Create and curate routinely generated clinical data in formats that can be made accessible for research

o To ensure the continuation of the provision of high quality data to be used for reporting and analysis primarily by the two departments involved.

o To support and develop specialist datasets, including supporting the curation of a commercially viable, deep, longitudinal research datasets such as oncology and metabolic diseases.

o To be support with evaluating key business intelligence reports, combining detailed operational awareness with knowledge of data and systems.

o To lead, when required, on the technical design, maintenance and development of special datasets based on specifications agreed with the departments.

To engage with senior clinicians and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to map and improve data flows and quality.

o To lead on the communication of complex technical specifications and intelligence reports to Trust senior managers and executives.

o To quality assure key executive reports before they are published and highlight on exception performance issues to seniors.

o To work as an effective and integral part of the Information/Data Warehouse team to ensure reporting is consistent and accurate and is delivered within the agreed timescales.
