Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Research Coordinator to join our dynamic research team.
Our diverse Research directorate provides a high quality clinical and academic research environment, in which people can take part in research programmes safely and effectively, according to robust and ethically approved protocols.
In this varied and challenging post, you will work as a skilled member of the research team, providing a high standard of coordination, driving forward study set up and the delivery of projects., Ensure adherence to research legislation and maintenance of essential documentation, working with the CI team to ensure timely submission of all relevant regulatory documentation.
Oversee the successful progress of clinical research throughout the study lifecycle.
Responsible for driving study set-up
Lead on the costing of studies
Responsible for tracking studies from pre-approval to completion
Ensure all study details are entered into national/local databases as required and that information is updated, with further data supplied as required, in order to support entry onto the NIHR portfolio and other local databases and thereby allow for performance management
Ensuring robust data recording and reporting
Work collaboratively with clinical academics and research teams in the expert coordination and day to day management of a portfolio of CNTW Sponsored studies, providing support and being a key link for stakeholders.
Ensuring that accurate, timely information is provided to all researchers/research teams, as appropriate
Responsible for research communications such as twitter, bulletin etc
To facilitate the Audit programme for all studies
Responsible for the coordination of R&D events such as conference, training groups
Responsible for the tracking of, and HR maintenance of research staff located
around the trust
Ensuring internal SOPs and frameworks are followed
Supporting the coordination of sponsorships requests
