WMG is seeking to appoint a full-time post-doctoral research fellow specialising in electrical steels for electrical machines. We are working on innovative electrical machines that will be instrumental in the decarbonisation of transport, and you will be critical to that success. The primary challenges are associated with optimising manufacturing processes, meeting cost targets and applying the latest engineering techniques to electric machines and drives for aerospace applications. This role offers an opportunity to work on an engineering project in collaboration with our industrial and academic partners, with funding from the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI).
