Full Job Description

These positions are associated with the EPSRC Established Career Fellowship on Resources in Computation held by Professor Samson Abramsky.

The primary duties are:

  • Conducting research within the project, in particular on developing the structural theory of resources in both classical and quantum computation, and relating structural aspects to expressiveness and complexity.

  • Producing quality publications in leading venues

    A strong background in one or more of mathematics, theoretical computer science, and quantum information and computation.

  • Also, willingness and ability to learn about the other areas listed above.

  • In addition, some programming background, and the ability to perform numerical explorations and simulations, are desirable.
