Full Job Description

The Research Fellow will conduct a global review of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), perform rapid evidence assessments, and facilitate participatory workshops. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and project partners, analyze data, and prepare policy-relevant outputs.

The successful candidate will need to have a PhD, in a relevant field, experience in social science research methods, and strong knowledge of food systems and sustainability. They should possess excellent writing and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and experience in presenting scientific work. An in-depth knowledge of food systems, sustainability, net zero, NBS, and food policy academic literature is desirable.

The Centre for Food Policy at City St George's, University of London, is a leading interdisciplinary centre focused on shaping effective food systems. The Research Fellow will contribute to the "Joined up policy and practice for joined up landscapes" (JPP4JL) project, co-led by Dr. Christian Reynolds and Dr. Christopher Yap, aiming to enhance climate change adaptation through Nature-Based Solutions.

The selection process will involve a 5 minute presentation on a pre-set topic and a 45 minute interview.
