Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Research Finance Administrator to join our team on a 9-month contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a prestigious institution, supporting a portfolio of research awards. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality post-award management support to academic departments, ensuring compliance with funder terms and internal financial policies.,
- Manage a portfolio of research awards, ensuring adherence to funder terms and financial regulations.
- Provide expert guidance and support to Principal Investigators and administrative staff for post-award financial and administrative activities.
- Prepare, reconcile, and submit expenditure statements and invoices in a timely manner.
- Monitor project budgets, identifying variances and advising on resolutions.
- Liaise with collaborators and partners on research projects, managing financial documentation and payments.
- Support project audits and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
- Ensure effective working relationships across departments and external funding bodies.
Proven experience in post-award research finance administration. - Strong knowledge of funder rules, regulations, and financial policies.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial database systems and the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
