What We Offer As an employer, we genuinely care about our employees' wellbeing and this is reflected in the range of benefits that we offer including:

- Family leave schemes
- Cycle loan scheme

- Membership to a variety of social and sports clubs
- A welcoming and diverse community About the Role The set-up of awards on the University's finance system, and funder claims, statements, and invoicing for all of the University's research are managed by the Research Accounts team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the four Research Finance Managers work together to ensure that financial best practice is embedded across the Research Accounts team, in the areas of claims and billing, the set-up and reconciliation of all research awards on Oracle Financials, and adherence to funder terms and conditions. You will work closely with staff in academic departments, funder organisations and the University's Research Services team to ensure that all research accounting matters are dealt with in a professional and controlled way, and provide follow-on support to departmental staff as necessary once they have received initial training on the Oracle projects module. We welcome applications from all sections of the community. You will be based in Great Clarendon Street but you may be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.
You will have experience of working in a complex financial administration function in a customer focused environment. Alongside this, you should have a high level of analytical capability. You will have experience of managing staff or evidence of the skills required to do so and be an effective team worker. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a wide caseload of projects and adhere to deadlines are also required.
