Research Laboratory Technician (Fixed Term)

The successful candidate will be assisting the Senior Scientist for the NHSE Stickler Syndrome Highly Specialised Service in providing molecular genetic analysis for families and patients with this disorder. Key duties will encompass DNA amplification, gel analysis, mini-gene construction, cell culture and transfection, RNA isolation and rt-PCR. Experience in these techniques is desirable but tuition will also be provided as part of the induction training.
