Full Job Description

As a Research Nurse you will work as part of the Clinical Research Team to support the safe conduct of research in accordance with the research governance framework and good clinical practice guidelines and provide assurance that the rights, safety, and well- being of trial participants are protected. The post holder will work within the research team to plan, implement, organize, and manage concurrent research projects. Supporting on clinical trials whilst maintaining a high standard of care and have the skills such as venepuncture, cannulation, ECG - or be willing to obtain these skills. The applicant will develop networks with multidisciplinary teams across the trust and other appropriate local and national agencies. The post holder will coordinate and manage the relevant study portfolio and deliver recruitment accrual in line with performance and monitoring objectives.

A secondment opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join the team at the Newcastle Clinical Research Facility (NCRF) as a Band 6 Research Nurse.
