Research Technician (108637-1024)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Physics at the University of Warwick.

You will provide technical support for the Superconductivity and Magnetism group, helping to maintain and repair apparatus in the sample preparation and characterisation laboratories of the group. The apparatus includes a range of electrical and mechanical devices including furnaces, pumps, and low-temperature (cryogenic) measurement systems.

You will be responsible for the general support of the research group's activities, carrying out routine maintenance of equipment and housekeeping in the group's laboratories.

You will also assist in operating and maintaining the Departmental helium recovery plant.
