Full Job Description

We work closely with our colleagues in Radiotherapy Physics and our medical colleagues with regular MDT input.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated therapeutic radiographer with an interest in clinical research to join us at the South West Wales Cancer Centre based at Singleton Hospital, Swansea.

This exciting Band 6 radiographer role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work within the Radiotherapy Department and support the expanding portfolio of radiotherapy research as part of the Cancer Research trials team.

This is a split post with part of the role based in the Radiotherapy Department working as part of the Radiotherapy treatment delivery team. The post holder will rotate through the departments site specific treatment units to maintain entitlements. This will ensure up to date knowledge of current policies and treatment techniques, enabling the seamless introduction of clinical trials within the department, while continuing to give hands-on radiotherapy treatment.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
