Full Job Description

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust (OHFT) has developed an innovative and successful model which has increased participation in and engagement with health research. As our Research Training and Development Manager (NMAHPs) you'll be responsible for developing the capacity and capability of healthcare staff across the Trust, with a focus on research training and education. You'll be taking a lead in the development and implementation of strategies and models to support NMAHP research engagement and research capability and capacity building across OHFT in line with National Institute of Health Research (NIHR), Nursing and Midwifery national policies and NHS England's Making Research Matter, Strategic Plan for Research.   • Responsible for networking across all OHFT services, Oxford University, Oxford Brookes University and other NHS trusts such as Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and external research networks such as the RRDN, the TVSM ARC, the OHFT Clinical Research Facility and the Oxford BRCs.
  • You'll be leading on research implementation initiatives that build research skills and develop NMAHP (and non-NMAHPs) to be research ready, equipping them with skills to support, deliver and lead research within the Trust and externally.
  • Support the development and delivery of a comprehensive range of training and education opportunities for staff, service users and students.
