Reservations Agent

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.

• Inputting reservations and taking new bookings


• Updating all reservations made by online agents


• Checking arrivals for following day


• Answering all email and telephone enquiries


• Inputting group rooming lists
  
  good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera and other relevant computer software


• a proactive approach to resolving issues that arise


• have excellent personal presentation, listening skills, verbal and written communication


• have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service with a 'can do' attitude


• ability to handle cash, credit/debit cards and foreign currency


• a strong team player with the ability to multi-task & prioritise work commitments


• ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under high pressure


• professional/confident telephone manner


• good sense of humour and an approachable personality
