Reservations Agent

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following:

• Communicating with guests by telephone and email
• Taking and inputting reservations
• Negotiating rates
• Promoting the hotel services and facilities to our guests at the time of reservation with confidence to increase potential revenue
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of hotel products and services, pricing and policies as well as knowledge of the local area
  
  A 'can-do' approach to guest interaction and service, to ensure our guest's needs are catered for
• The ability to multi-task and prioritise workload, which on occasion may well be under pressure!
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, (although not essential, previous experience of Opera would be a distinct advantage)
• The ability to promote products and services (upsell)
