Full Job Description
In the role of Reservations Agent, your key focus will be to:
- answer all incoming Reservation enquiries, to the agreed departmental standard, and wherever possible to convert them to bookings
- input reservations into the OPERA system, ensuring all details are accurate and complete in line with the agreed departmental standard.
- ensure all system traces are actioned on a daily basis
- ensure all 'no-shows' from the previous night are followed up and charged accordingly
- perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing as and when required You will be scheduled to work on a roster that allows 5 shifts out of 7, that will require weekend work. Office opening hours are 8am - 8pm, and all our shifts are 8.5 hours long., We are extremely proud to be recognised as an environmentally conscious hotel, constantly striving to improve our eco policies and initiatives to help preserve our world for future generations.
