Full Job Description

We are recruiting a Reservations & Events Coordinator to join our Rapport team, based at our client's flagship building in Canary Wharf. The Client is a global bank, and you will be part of a diverse team of 20+ team members. Your role is to to provide a smooth and seamless booking journey for employees who need to reserve meetings and event spaces; you will achieve this by using your own initiative and working seamlessly with different departments. The Reservations & Events Coordinator role is ideal for someone with great attention to detail and a natural ability to build positive working relationships with different stakeholders. You will be an integral part of a highly professional team based on the Client Suite of our offices. This is a fast-paced, high-volume reception and the ability to take ownership is key to success. This role is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week), working on a shift rota basis from Monday to Friday between 7 AM and 7 PM. Main responsibilities

  • Efficiently managing and processing reservations for meeting rooms and event spaces through various channels, including telephone, email, and in-person inquiries
  • Assisting bookers in navigating our hospitality brochure, providing expert guidance on food and drink selections that align with their event goals
  • Working closely with the hospitality and kitchen teams to ensure seamless execution of events, from planning to delivery, ensuring all client requirements are met
  • Liaising with various departments and external service partners to coordinate logistics, equipment, and other resources essential for successful events
