Full Job Description

We're looking for a Reservations Manager to join our talented team at The Blues Kitchen.

This integral role is responsible for generating event bookings, from private dining occasions to larger scale private parties.

They will become an expert on our reservations policy, and changing menus to find the best way to accommodate guest requests.

The Reservations Manager will be an upbeat and inspirational leader and will ensure consistent, flawless communication between our guests and internal teams.

From sharing dietary requirements, to executing bespoke personal touches for special events, this individual will make sure everyone is correctly informed and will find ways to exceed guests expectations, presenting solutions for all occasions.

The Reservations Manager will be able to follow clear step-by-step processes and confidently use our Reservations systems (Opentable and Collins), ensuring guest details and specific information is always recorded in a clear and easy-to-understand way for our teams.

Most importantly, the Reservations Manager will be commercially focused and able to build strong rapport with our guests.

They will ensure that each booking experience is so seamless that guests think no further than The Blues Kitchen when planning future occasions.

What we're looking for :

Revenue Management : Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue by effectively managing bookings and inventory.

Sales Focus : Use your strong sales background to identify opportunities for upselling, packages, and promotions that drive bookings.

Guest Experience : Ensure a seamless reservations process and a positive guest experience from initial inquiry to post-visit follow-up.

Reporting : Track key metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Collaboration : Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to align strategies and achieve business goals.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with OpenTable and Collins.

Please note this role is office-based in our Head Office in Camden. Working hours are 10am-6pm everyday.
