  • What Will You Be Doing? The Residential Business Planner will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Planning Manager, working with the Heads of Residential Business to developing and implement strategic plans to drive residential sales growth. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
  • Conducting comprehensive market research to identify trends, drivers, opportunities, threats, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyse customer demographics and purchasing behaviours to inform sales strategies. Monthly reporting on invoicing per sector and per region.
  • Working with the sales teams to conclude accurate sales forecasts regionally by market sector based on historical data, market trends, and sales team input.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts to reflect changes in the market and business environment.
  • Assist in the development of long-term sales strategies and business plans. Collaborate with the Sales Planning Manager & heads of Residential to set achievable sales targets and objectives.
  • Track and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies. Partner with Sales Leadership Teams (SLT) and Regional Sales Managers (RSM) from residential teams to agree on top priorities.
  • Support the execution of budget book priorities and associated actions with a focus on evaluating market approaches and opportunities using SWOT and PESTLE analyses.
  • Assist in budget cycle activities, including executive preparation and planning.
  • Arrange Steering Committee (Steerco) meetings, take minutes, assign action owners, and follow up on actions.
  • Conduct forecast meetings with the residential sales clear pillar overviews and conclusions. Own daily trackers to ensure clarity of progress among sales teams.
  • Take ownership of sales pillar priorities and actions from a corporate perspective.
  • Handle ad hoc requests to support sales, such as promotions. Conduct business partnering and route-to-market analysis, focusing on performance in the heating sector.

    HVAC market and Product knowledge
  • Degree level - preferably in Economics, Business Studies or similar
  • Relevant experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Customer focused with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Organised self-starter who is able to prioritise & meet tight deadlines.
  • Systematic, analytical and a problem-solving mind-set.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills - particularly Excel, PBI, PowerPoint
