Full Job Description

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the centre according to established standards and objectives.
  • Manage the course budget and finances.
  • Work collaboratively with the host school, sales team, parents and agents to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure an excellent overall experience for students.
  • Oversee the supervision, support and discipline of students, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Induct and provide leadership to all course staff, establishing a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Be on call and respond to emergencies as they arise, demonstrating quick thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Ensure the well-being and safeguarding of students is prioritised at all times., Bell is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment:
  • A DBS/Police Check will be requested in the event of a successful application (this will be paid for by Bell).
  • We do not accept DBS Checks undertaken by other organisations (unless you are on the update service).
  • All gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily.
  • Proof of identity and qualifications will be required.
  • All references will be followed up and reference requests will ask specifically whether there is any reason you should not be engaged in situations where you have responsibility for, or substantial access to, persons under 18.
  • Appropriate suitability checks will be required prior to confirmation of appointment.

Enthusiastic - You are passionate about working with young people and providing outstanding educational experiences. We are especially interested in hearing from candidates with expertise in any of the following areas:
  • Previous management or leadership experience in an academic and/or residential environment
  • Pastoral or welfare experience
