Full Job Description
Our client, a well-established law firm in Enfield, is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated paralegal with a passion for property law to develop their skills and career within a supportive environment. You will work on a variety of residential property matters and support the conveyancing team to ensure the smooth progression of transactions.,
- Assist solicitors in managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, and remortgages.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, mortgage lenders, and estate agents to facilitate the progression of files.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, transfers, and other related documentation.
- Conduct land registry searches, manage client correspondences, and file documents with the Land Registry.
- Conduct title checks and prepare reports on title for review by senior colleagues.
- Maintain accurate file management and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support the conveyancing team with administrative tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and transactions progress smoothly.
Experience: Previous experience working as a paralegal in residential conveyancing is essential. - Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and professionals.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- IT Skills: Proficient in using case management systems and MS Office.
