Full Job Description

As a Residential Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and loving home environment for children and young people. You will provide support to help them flourish and reach their full potential, while building nurturing relationships. Empowering children to make positive choices and collaborating with professionals and colleagues is essential to this role.,

  • Build Relationships: Establish safe and nurturing connections with the children.
  • Communication Skills: Maintain clear and effective communication with children, colleagues, and professionals.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Stay composed during challenging situations
  • To be responsible for the homes financial administration during your shift, to inlcude petty cash, and young peoples personal allowances
  • Act in any emergancy situation and apply to established protocols

    Transferable Skills: Experience from other sectors is valued.
  • Calm Demeanour: Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful times.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Support and Empower: Help children thrive and make positive life choices.
