Full Job Description

1. To support individuals in daily activities including personal care, housekeeping, social and leisure activities, skill development and promoting independence., 3. To support individuals with their personal care needs. 4. Carry out domestic duties. 5. Help provide opportunities and encouragement for individuals to participate in appropriate leisure activities using suitable venues in community settings based on individual needs and choice. 6. Support individuals to reach their maximum potential, independence, develop additional skills and participate in teaching these skills as required. 7. Participate in the key-worker system. 8. Completion of records as necessary. 9. Support individuals in taking prescribed medicines in accordance with laid down procedures. 10. Participate in meetings/discussions as required. 11. Participate in courses/training events as required and update personal Continuous Professional Development records. 12. Participate in supervisory meetings and performance review procedures. 13. Observe Health and Safety requirements. 14. a. To follow the professional Codes of Conduct and organisational Policies and Procedures. b. Work in a way that their place of work meets the Care Quality Commission Essential Outcomes. 15. To be accountable for all allocated monies and expenditure during the shift. 16 Willing to carry out appropriate vehicle checks and be accountable for adherence to traffic regulations. 17. To undergo infection control training and to comply with all aspects of Alphonsus infection control measures. 18. To comply with both organisational and West Midlands Safeguarding Policy. 19. Any other duties which may reasonably fall within the scope of this post.
