Full Job Description

As a Project Surveyor, you will manage and deliver the stock investment and planned works programmes for PA Housing. These programmes include essential updates like kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, and roof replacements. Additionally, you will oversee cyclical decorations, repairs, and various ad-hoc planned works as necessary. If your experience lies more within the Damp, Mould and Disrepair area, as a Surveyor in this department, then you will contribute to the successful delivery and completion of damp, mould and disrepair works within a new dedicated team within the Assets department. Carrying out your role efficiently and effectively, ensure property inspections and works are delivered to a high standard, meeting our service standards whilst providing excellent customer experience and high levels of customer satisfaction. Carry out property inspections, diagnose damp, mould and disrepair causes, specify remediation and repairs, and manage works through to completion. Ensuring these works are delivered to a consistently high standard, meeting our priority targets, and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement for both these roles. You'll typically be required to be in the office 2-3 days per week, with the remaining days working from home when not working onsite. However, during your probation and training period, more time in the office might be necessary to ensure you feel fully prepared and confident in your role. If you prefer to spend more time in the office, that's completely fine with us too!, Deliver stock investment and planned works programmes for PA Housing, focusing on our Midlands properties. This includes updates to kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, and roofs. Utilise and maintain Keystone for managing works, including the use of mobile technology. Certify contractor valuations and claims within the role's delegated authority limits, including interim and final account payments. Manage the quality inspection process of works, including pre-start scoping, in-progress quality inspections, and post-inspection sign-offs. Collaborate closely with our resident liaison officer to ensure excellent customer experience and high levels of satisfaction. Review and update stock data to develop future stock investment and planned work programmes. Ideal Candidate

  • Full UK Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a DBS check
  • Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota, Holds a professional qualification in a relevant technical discipline or can demonstrate suitable experience to meet the role's requirements. Accredited qualifications by the Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors or the Chartered Institute of Building. NEBOSH/IOSH qualification. A minimum of two years' experience in delivering stock investment/major works to social housing or private residential housing. Experience managing suppliers through long-term contracts, including JCT Measured Term contracts or similar.

    Our salaries can be negotiable depending on experience, qualifications and membership status.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service: This role of requires the successful candidate to complete a basic DBS check. A basic DBS check will show any unspent convictions. So why do we need to know this information? This role will be required to visit / support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.
