Full Job Description

The Resource Planning Team Lead has responsibility for forecasting and coordinating resource planning activities within the Clinical Services Division, North East area, supporting the associated Support Services (including AMS, Imms & Vacc Service and Practice staffing requests) with a specific focus on working pattern flexibility, resource optimisation, annual leave and sickness cover to enable all Services achieve service level agreements. Ensuring this is achieved through the use of the IntraHealth Rota System and the provision of training and support to staff to ensure best practice across the whole organisation.

To proactively support Clinical / Operational and Support staff in Resource Administration and co-ordination ensuring production of core rotas and all information held on IntraHealth Rota System are accurate and conform to Working Time Directive Regulations and Data Protection Act requirements. Providing supervision, support and essential training on the rota system to staff under the guidance of the Clinical Services Manager.

To ensure that all staff have the correct hours according to their contract, annual leave allowance allocated to them in line with service level agreements and working time legislation.

To manage A/L, mandatory training, sickness etc.
